EKSPLORASI ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA TARI BRAMBANG DESA KUNIR DEMAK
Abstract
The aim of this research is to introduce the Brambang Dance culture to readers and explore the philosophical and mathematical values contained in the Brambang Dance. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data was obtained from the dance stylist and creator of the Brambang Dance. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Next, the data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that in the Brambang Dance there is a mathematical learning concept in the form of angle geometry, namely sharp, right, obtuse and straight angles from the position of the dancer's hands. So it can be an alternative source and medium for learning mathematics, and can foster a sense of love for the country, respect and pride in Indonesian culture.
