PENGGUNAAN MEDIA KARTU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI OPERASI BILANGAN BULAT
Abstract
This research aims to improve learning outcomes in number operations material. The subjects of this research were 32 students in class VII H. This research is Classroom Action Research which refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The results of the research show that the use of positive and negative number colored cards can improve learning outcomes in integer operations material for class VII H students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu by modifying the learning process based on the learning profile. This research was carried out in two cycles by organizing students into groups based on ability, namely high, medium and low and carrying out a group guiding phase. The data collection methods used in this research are learning outcomes tests and observation guidelines. The results of the research show that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes, this can be seen in the percentage of complete success. In cycle I, 11 students (39.3%) achieved completeness in the good category. In cycle II, 22 students (82.1%) achieved completeness and were in the very good category. Thus it can be concluded that using positive and negative number colored cards can improve student learning outcomes and better teacher and student activities.
