PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK (PMR) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 16 SAMARINDA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of RME approach on creative thinking ability. This research is a quantitative research with the design used is quasi exsperiment by giving learning treatment using realistic mathematics learning method in experimental class with conventional learning in control class. The population in this study were seventh grade students as many as 67 students consisting of 2 classes. Data collection techniques in this study used pre-test and post-test questions of creative thinking ability as many as 5 items. Based on the results of this study, it was found that in the independent sample t-test test on the post-test results of the control class and the experimental class, the value of the t count of the Levene test was 0.040 <0.05, which means that the data had different variances. While the Paired Sample t-test test, pair of pre-test and post-test values of the experimental class obtained a sig value. (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 which means that there is a difference in the results of experimental class. Because there is a difference in the average results of experimental class students. So the crosstab analysis shows that there is a change in the level of students' creative thinking skills in the results of experimental class, so there is an influence between Realistic Mathematics Learning on creative thinking skills. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of realistic mathematics learning on the creative thinking ability of seventh grade of SMP Negeri 16 Samarinda.
