Abstract

Kondisi ideal pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) menuntut partisipasi aktif siswa, namun temuan empiris menunjukkan adanya penurunan drastis tingkat konsentrasi akibat keletihan fisik dan mental pada penjadwalan jam rawan (siang hari). Di sisi lain, upaya inovasi pedagogis pendidik melalui Game-Based Learning (GBL) digital terhambat oleh regulasi sekolah yang membatasi penggunaan gawai oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis kondisi aktual penggunaan media PAI terhadap tingkat fokus siswa, (2) mengidentifikasi kendala regulasi gawai, dan (3) menganalisis tingkat kebutuhan perancangan media permainan non-digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui inkuiri wawancara mendalam terhadap Guru PAI di salah satu SMAN di Kota Bandung, dan dianalisis menggunakan kerangka ARCS Model of Motivational Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tingkat kebutuhan yang tinggi dari pendidik terhadap pengembangan media GBL non-digital. Fenomena ini dilatarbelakangi oleh inefisiensi metode stimulasi konvensional di jam siang, diferensiasi krisis kepercayaan diri siswa terutama diantara materi Sejarah Islam dan Tajwid/Al-Qur’an, serta kebutuhan efisiensi stamina mengajar pendidik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan tindak lanjut berupa perancangan purwarupa permainan edukatif fisik yang praktis, mengakomodasi mekanika kegagalan berisiko rendah, dan mengintegrasikan penanaman nilai adab Islami secara organik ke dalam aturan permainannya
