PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DENGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI TEOREMA PYTHAGORAS DI KELAS VIII

Abstract

Effective learning was an important element in learning to achieve maximum learning. Mathematics was a complex subject and tend to be favored student, therefore, a teacher must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere in learning in order to make students feel happy in the learning process, so that students' mastery of mathematics could be better and can foster creative thinking abilities of students , This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning model with inquiry learning strategies to improve student learning outcomes in the material Pythagoras theorem in class VIII MTs YPM 6 Gresik. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs YPM 6 Kedungsekar Benjeng Gresik in the academic year of 2014/2015 in sum of  20 students. The results of data analysis we concluded that: (1) the total percentage of active student activities of  96.25% (2) the jumble percentage of active teachers activity of 100% (3) The students' response to cooperative learning model with inquiry learning strategies tested positive with the results percentage of 89.375% and (4) classical learning completeness students by 90%. The point (1) to (4) it could  be concluded that cooperative learning model with inquiry learning strategies effectively applied to the subject of Pythagoras theorem in class VIII MTs YPM 6 Kedungsekar Benjeng Gresik in the academic year of 2014/2015.
