EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA KARTU KATA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS CANVA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN SISWA KELAS I SD NEGERI BALECATUR 1
Abstract
This research focuses on determining the effectiveness of Canva-based interactive word card media to enhance the initial reading skills of class I students at SDN Balecatur 1 for the 2024/2025 academic year. The variables of this research are Canva-based interactive word card media (X) as the independent variable and beginning reading skills (Y) as the dependent variable. In this research, quantitative experimental methods were used. The population in this study was 28 class I students at SDN Balecatur 1. This study utilized a saturated sampling approach (census) where samples were taken from the entire population, in this study the population was 28. The instruments used were teaching materials and skills tests read. Hypothesis testing technique uses Paired Sample T-test. The outcomes of the research showed that the pre- test results attained a highest score of 100 and a lowest score of 41. Furthermore, the post-test results attained a highest score of 100 and a lowest score of 50. The final results showed that the t-count of reading skills was 4.849, this shows a comparison of scores. of tcount is greater than the ttable value, (tcount : 4.849> ttable : 2.056). Next, compare with a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level value of 5% (0.000<0.05). The finding of the research concluded that Canva-based interactive word card media was effective for the beginning reading skills of class I students at SD N Balecatur 1.
