Objective: This study aims to examine in depth the positive contributions of parents and family members in improving children's literacy at home through a systematic review of the literature. Method: This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA stages, reviewing ten relevant articles published between 2016-2025. Research Results: The review results indicate that the role of parents is very significant in the framework of home learning, including activities such as reading books, reading stories, and providing feedback to teachers regarding children's understanding achievements. Increasing the frequency and duration of reading time with parents directly and positively affects children's literacy, motivation, and writing skills, and can even reduce educational disparities. Conclusion: The positive contributions of parents and family members are very important for children's literacy at home, although its success is influenced by factors such as parental education level and income, which can be addressed through collaboration in providing free book access.

2025-11-12T13:38:05+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://e-jurnal.unisda.ac.id/index.php/jpiaud/article/view/11184 REKONSTRUKSI KURIKULUM UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN CINTA BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB PADA ANAK USIA DINI 2025-11-14T15:56:21+07:00 Muhammad Tareh Aziz tarehaziz@unisda.ac.id Muhammad Rido’i muhammadridoi@stibada.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the paradigm and concept of the Arabic language curriculum for early childhood education in accordance with the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). The research method used is library research by examining various relevant literature on curriculum design, teaching methods, and assessment in Arabic language learning for young children. The results show that Arabic learning for early childhood should focus on fostering interest and love for the Arabic language rather than mastering its formal linguistic structure. Effective learning processes are carried out through thematic, integrative, contextual, and play-based approaches such as storytelling, songs, games, and Total Physical Response (TPR). The discussion reveals that enjoyable and spiritually oriented approaches can foster children’s intrinsic motivation to learn Arabic joyfully and sincerely. This study concludes that the Arabic language curriculum for early childhood should be humanistic and theocentric, aiming not only to develop linguistic competence but also to instill love for Allah and His Messenger.
2025-11-14T15:50:01+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://e-jurnal.unisda.ac.id/index.php/jpiaud/article/view/11180 PENINGKATAN KECERDASAN VISUAL SPASIAL ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN LOOSE PART DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN ALAM DI TK NEGERI BANTEA 2025-11-21T10:22:04+07:00 Muhammad Akbar muhammaddakbar025@gmail.com Yusuf Maronta yusufmaronta@gmail.com Zanurhaini Zanurhaini Znrhyn29@gmail.com
This study aims to improve the visual-spatial intelligence of early childhood through
the loose part learning method using natural materials at Bantea State Kindergarten. Visual
spatial intelligence is the ability of children to recognize, organize, and arrange visual
elements into meaningful forms. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted
in two cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The
research subjects consisted of 11 children at Bantea State Kindergarten. Data was collected
through observation using visual-spatial assessment sheets based on child development
indicators. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement in each cycle. In
the pre-cycle stage, only 2 children (18.18%) reached the Developing as Expected (DAE)
category. After implementing the loose parts method using natural materials in the form of
collages, the number of children who reached the DAE category increased to 4 children
(36.36%) in cycle I, and increased significantly to 8 children (72.73%) in cycle II.
In the pre-cycle stage, the majority of children were still in the Not Yet Developing (NYD)
and Beginning to Develop (BD) categories. After receiving intervention in cycle I and
refinement in cycle II, there was a significant increase in the number of children who reached
the Developing as Expected (DAE) category. In cycle II, 8 children (72.73%) successfully
demonstrated visual-spatial abilities in line with developmental indicators, while the number
of children in the ND category decreased to only 1 child (9.09%). This increase shows that
loose part-based learning with natural materials can provide appropriate stimulation for
children in developing an understanding of the concepts of shape, color, size, direction, and
patterns. Additionally, this activity also provides space for children to express themselves
freely, improve concentration, and strengthen eye coordination. It can be concluded that the
application of the loose parts learning method using natural materials is effective in improving
the visual-spatial intelligence of early childhood. Learning designed through exploratory
activities such as arranging, sticking, and rearranging objects made from natural materials
(grains) encourages children to develop visual perception, spatial skills, and creative and
logical thinking. These activities allow children to explore, recognize shapes, patterns, and
spaces, and encourage them to think creatively through enjoyable hands-on experiences.

2025-11-21T10:22:04+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://e-jurnal.unisda.ac.id/index.php/jpiaud/article/view/11281 PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PUZZLE BERBASIS DIGITAL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA DINI DI PAUD TUNAS DHARMA SIDOARJO 2025-11-27T16:19:20+07:00 Novita Widiyaningrum novita@istaz.ac.id Siti Mufarochah mufarochah@istaz.ac.id Fitrianti Wulandari fitriantiwulandari12@gmail.com

This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a digital puzzle-based learning medium for young children, reviewed from the aspects of learning content, instructional design, media design, and its impact on early childhood cognitive abilities. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively through posttest assessments and Likert scale-based validation scores, interpreted using feasibility criteria. Qualitative analysis was carried out descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that expert validation in content, design, and media, along with the measurement of students’ cognitive abilities, demonstrated very high feasibility levels with percentages of 91% (content expert), 92% (design expert), and 92% (media expert). The media was deemed appropriate for children’s developmental characteristics, aligned with the early childhood curriculum, and capable of supporting children’s engagement and thinking skills. Cognitive assessments of ten students showed that the media improved logical thinking and concentration (85%) and enhanced shape and number/letter recognition (77%), although color recognition remained relatively low (70%). Overall, the developed digital puzzle learning media proved to be highly feasible and effective in improving early childhood cognitive abilities, though minor improvements are still needed in the areas of feedback and color recognition.
2025-11-27T16:19:20+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://e-jurnal.unisda.ac.id/index.php/jpiaud/article/view/11178 PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ARAB ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA PERMAINAN EDUKATIF DI TKM AL-ASY’ARI SIDOARJO 2025-12-02T14:27:31+07:00 Laili Mas Ulliyah Hasan lailimasulliyahhasan@unsuri.ac.id Siti Durotun Naseha sitinaseha@unhasy.ac.id Izzah Nur Hudzriyah Hasan izzahhudzriyah@gmail.com
This study investigates how the implementation of educational play media can improve Arabic language skills among early childhood learners at TKM Al-Asy’ari Sidoarjo.
