PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF DENGAN STRATEGI PETA KONSEP POHON JARINGAN PADA MATERI KUBUS DAN BALOK DI SMP EMPAT LIMA 2 KEDUNGPRING

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the application of interactive learning with map strategy concept tree network on the cube and beam materials in terms of: (1) the students’ learning outcomes completeness; (2) the students’ activities; (3) the students’ responses. The subjects of the study were the eight graders of the second Yunior High School Empat Lima of Kedungpring in the academic year of 2012/2013. The research subjects were taken to see the students' ability to make a map concept as many as 10 students in each groups of high, medium and low. The data collection techniques used were observations, questionnaires and tests. Observation method was used to determine the activity of students during the learning process. The questionnaire method was used to determine the responses of students' in learning that has been done. While the test was used to determine the level of students’ learning completeness classically. Based on the survey results revealed that the interactive learning methods with map concept tree network strategy effectively applied to the cubes and beams materials in terms of: (1) classical learning completeness of 86.67%; (2) the activity of students in making a map concept tree network was successful as much as 68.27% of the students in the category of succeed; and (3) the students' responses of 71.35% were in the category of help, understanding and fun. Given the results, it could be taken into consideration by all educators to try implementing interactive learning method with map concept tree network strategy in learning activities.
