Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of cooperative learning model index card match effective in improving learning achievement write explanatory text-PMS class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Lamongan year 2016/2017 in terms of levels: complete learn student, teacher activity level, activity level students , and the students' response to learning innovation After analysis of research data increased the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in cycle 1 and cycle = 72% 2 = 86%, the result of observation of teacher activity cycle 1 and cycle 2 = 84.8 = 87.5 observations of student activity cycle 1 and cycle 2 = 77.8 = 84, and the students' response to learning innovation is also increasing cycle 1 = 81% (29 students stated receiving) and cycle 2 = 90% (32 students stated receiving) the results of the study showed an increase on the test results of students ability to write explanatory text with the implementation of cooperative learning model index card match effective in improving learning achievement write explanatory text.
